Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor Rally

Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally in Washington D.C. was a gift to America straight from the Throne Room.

Whether Beck is a Christian or a Mormon is irrelevant to the significance of the event. It’s not about the man; it’s about the message. God has spoken in times past through unlikely vessels. He seems to have a thing for that. Beck was a prophetic voice calling a nation back to God. He recognizes more than some, that this must be the first step to restoring our nation. We must be one nation under God first. Then we can discern His will for our nation and develop our national life and public policy within that paradigm.

That is the message we have been preaching and teaching in our theme, “America Bless God.” God has blessed America for over 200 years. We must turn it around and acknowledge His sovereignty over us if we can expect to continue to enjoy the peace and prosperity we have known.

Now it’s time for preachers to preach it from the pulpits. Don’t be out-done by a news commentator. Shame on us! Our pulpits must be “ablaze with glory” once again.

Glenn Beck talked about the “Black Robed Regiment.” This was the regiment that King George feared the most –the preachers of the colonies. The Black Robed Regiment must once again lead the way to national repentance and public acknowledgement of God’s sovereignty over America. We must look to the stone we’ve been cut, the rock from which we have been hewn, (Isaiah 51:1), and work to restore our spiritual, and moral foundation, or we will no doubt go the way of Sodom and Gomorrah –not too good!

Pray for Glenn Beck, pray for your pastor, pray for our President and all those in authority over us. Pray for our nation to turn back to God for the benefit of generations to come, that they might know the peace and prosperity that we have known. Pray to see “America Bless God!”

My heart is beating as yours is on this one. We are one in the Spirit and our hearts are beating as one for our nation to return to our God.
It is the only way our nation will be great again. It is a moaning and groaning that only with God's help will we overcome loosing the gift of God's favor. For us, for our children, our grand children the community and the nation. I pray all hear this call and are obedient to return to Him. I beseech our God on behalf on this nation. I love you! You are truly a man after God's Heart and I want all to know that :) I know you :)

As a faithful Christian, I am appalled that you would be so effusive in praise by "God's use of Gleen Beck", if you want to call it that, in this rally. You totally dismiss how divisive and racist he and those like him have been to African-American Christians like myself, and how difficult he has made it for those of us who minister to the African-American community and for those of us who seel racial unity, even in the Body of Christ. Please don't insult my intellignece- -of course we agree on the issues of restoring honor to God for our country- - but please don't tell me you trruly miss the point on how divided our nation has become, including in the church, and how insentivie, self-serving commentators like Beck have added to the problem.

Amen! You understand completely what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to his people. WE NEED A GREAT AWAKENING UNTO GOD. Glenn Beck was just the "donkey" who carried the DESPERATELY NEEDED MESSAGE. Don't shot the messenger after all not all our founding fathers believed exactly alike. The Word was from God and BETTER be HEEDED. All those who came, were a part of the nameless, faceless generation. WE DO LOVE GOD. The GREAT AWAKENING HAS BEGUN and I will stand my watch to see America is RESTORED. As for me and my house we WILL serve the Lord, speak the truth in love, pray for our leaders and all in authority. Glenn is just a man, just as President Obama is just a man. The ONLY THING THAT WILL SAVE AMERICA. ISRAEL & THE NATIONS IS A GREAT AWAKENING IN JESUS NAME. If your church is not speaking about current affairs, WAKE UP, you just may be in the wrong church. I was at the solemn assembly and I am telling you, if this had not happened as a people, America could have fallen into the darkest darkness maybe never to return to her greatness. As it is now, I believe God extended MERCY & GREAT GRACE over America and if we do our part, THE EAGLE SHALL SOAR ONCE AGAIN! But take HEED, if you FORGET THE LORD AGAIN.... WOE UNTO YOU. Now, let us go forward as ONE PEOPLE PROUDLY PROCLAIMING JESUS CHRIST IS LORD KING OVER AMERICA AGAIN! That is what Glenn Beck did. He proclaimed Jesus Christ of Nazareth Lord King over America again! HALLELUJAH OUR GOD IS MARCHIN ON! COME ON BLACK ROBED BRIGADE! MAN YOUR BATTLE STATTIONS! WE MUST NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY EVER AGAIN!!!!!! HALLELUKJAH!!

Ed,
I'm glad you agree that we should
be restoring honor to God in our country, but I'm puzzled as to why you would make such harsh accusations like
“how divisive and racist he and those like him have been to African-American Christians” and

“how insentivie, “self-serving commentators like Beck have added to the problem.“

Ed, can you please show me some evidence of what you speak. On the contrary, I saw Glenn Beck teaching about the African-American heroes of our history. I would refer you to "Setting the Record Straight-America's History in Black and White" from www.wallbuilders.com.

As a "faithful Christian" as you say you are, I'm sure you wouldn't want to "judge another man's servant for to His own master he stands or falls" but if you can show me evidence where his actions have deepened the racial divide I'm all ears. Everything that I have heard suggests he is promoting unity as One Nation Under God. Let me also suggest a book by an African-American author, Bishop Harry Jackson, "Personal Faith-Public Policy"

If our goal is to promote unity in Christ, then we are of like hearts. Let's seek understanding.
Let's seek Truth.
